This is a place to list suggested mechanics for oddball (or not so oddball) situations that have come up in RP. These are suggestions and any ST may choose to use these rolls or another die roll in a given scene.

Perception

• Reading Lips: Wits+Intelligence, Wits+Investigation or Wits+Composure. Suggested Academics spec in 'Lip Reading.' Possible Modifiers: Character's view of the person to be read is slightly obstructed, such as in a dark or smoky room, or they don't have a clear frontal view: -1 to -3. Character is close enough to glean snippets of the conversation through auditory means, and can piece together the rest: +1 to +3
